This role involves working in a high-acuity environment, providing critical care to patients with severe medical conditions. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Administer care to critically ill patients, including sedated and ventilated individuals
- Monitor and titrate drips such as Precedex, Propofol, and more
- Perform PEG tube care/feedings and manage CVC/PICC/Midline lines
- Care for tracheostomy patients and those requiring sedation and pain control drips
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiated
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with critical care skills such as PEG tube care, ventilator management, and titration of vasopressors
