TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Roswell, New Mexico, 88201!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in ICU License: Registered Nurse license in state of practice Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience in an ICU setting Description: ICU RN position available with 36 or 48-hour options. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Patient ratios are 1:2. Floating to Med-Surg may be required if no ICU patients are available. Rotating weekend schedule is implemented. Candidates must have experience with a patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU. Charting system experience is required; prior experience with Community Client preferred. Skills required include managing arterial lines, assisting with chest tube insertion/removal, and ventilator management. Experience in managing a ventilated patient and administering blood products is necessary. Candidates should be able to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias. Ability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure is essential. Additional skills include starting and maintaining IVs and managing emergency medications. Orientation includes brief training on unit practices. Travelers will be expected to float to similar units as needed.
