Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated ICU RN to join a team in Newark, NY on a travel assignment. Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN- Manage arterial lines and blood product administration
- Provide central line care/management
- Administer continuous IV paralytics and sedation
- Handle emergency medications and infection prevention
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Perform phlebotomy and manage PICC lines
- Conduct procedural sedation administration/monitoring
- Start and maintain IVs
- Support thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia management
- Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG
Requirements of the ICU RN- New York State RN license in hand
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Charge experience highly preferred
- Willingness to float to other units
