Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / ICU – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour rotations, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and some holidays. Block scheduling available to accommodate preferences. 3:1 patient ratio.

  • Epic charting system with 28 hours of orientation provided

  • High-acuity patient population with exposure to advanced critical care technology and procedures
Requirements:
  • Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
  • Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 2 years of acute care experience in critical care within the last 3 years
  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Must pass pre-employment telemetry examination with strict passing criteria (80% or higher, 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
  • Competency in multiple ICU specialties including experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, CRRT/CVVHD, central line care, and arrhythmia interpretation
  • Preferred: NIHSS, TNCC certifications, and previous charge nurse experience
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available)
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
