Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in Delta, Colorado. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients within a dynamic hospital setting.
This position requires a commitment to patient safety, advanced clinical skills, and the ability to manage complex cases. The nurse will be responsible for continuous monitoring, assessment, and intervention for patients requiring intensive care.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in critical care nursing.
- Telemetry experience.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.

- Proficiency in critical care nursing practices and patient management.
- Ability to monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry and other vital signs.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and patient interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Competence in managing complex patient care plans and operating medical equipment relevant to ICU.
