Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Medical ICU licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients, split across two floors
- Float to Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC units as part of a flex team assignment
- Manage high-acuity cases including SEPSIS, ESRD, AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure
- Maintain expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 when acuity requires
- Deliver care in accordance with NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS (American Heart Association) standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
- NIHSS certification (American Heart Association)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; candidates with 1 year of experience must have that experience from a Level 1 ICU setting
- Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a Medical ICU (MICU) setting strongly preferred
- Background managing CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest protocols, and respiratory failure patients
- Strong clinical foundation with demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-acuity ICU patients independently
