Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Night Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

• Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience

• Contract: Not specified

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Local Radius: Candidates must live more than 75 miles away

• License: Active license required; pending license not accepted

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Charting: Not specified

• Staffing Ratio: 1:2 on all shifts

• Weekend: Every Other Weekend (EOW)

• Floating: Required to Med-Surg (MS)

• RTO: Keep requests close to 1 week

• Scrubs: Navy/White

Mandatory Skills:

• Phlebotomy and IV insertion (required competency for all Unity RNs)

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management; 12-lead EKG

• IV insulin protocols; renal failure management; CVVHD/CRRT

• Arterial line, central line, and PICC management

• Blood product administration

• Continuous IV sedation and paralytics

• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration

• Emergency medications and CVA/stroke management

• Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun

• Ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC

• ABG interpretation and respiratory failure management

• ETT/NT suctioning

• Infection prevention and isolation precautions

Patient Population / Diagnoses:

• Sepsis

• Post-cardiac arrest

• ARDS
