Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Albany, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week; shift details to be discussed with qualified candidates

Highlights:
  • Level I Trauma Center environment with diverse critical care patient population
  • Float across multiple ICU specialties including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, Cardiac Care, Progressive Critical Care, and Emergency Department
  • Epic electronic medical record system utilized facility-wide
  • Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission
  • Travel nursing experience required; non-local candidates only
  • Navy blue scrubs required
Requirements:
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license (or eligibility)
  • Epic EMR experience mandatory
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated competency caring for critically ill patients across multiple ICU settings
  • Experience floating to various ICU units highly desired
  • Ability to provide care in Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, Cardiovascular ICU, Progressive Critical Care, and overflow areas including ED and PACU
