Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,494 per week in Burien, WA

Titrate drips including sedation agents (propofol, versed, fentanyl, precedex), vasopressors (levophed, epinephrine, vasopressin, dopamine, dobutamine), diuretics, insulin, and amiodarone. Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU managing complex diagnoses including COVID, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, sepsis, and DKA.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU managing complex diagnoses including COVID, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, sepsis, and DKA
• Titrate drips including sedation agents (propofol, versed, fentanyl, precedex), vasopressors (levophed, epinephrine, vasopressin, dopamine, dobutamine), diuretics, insulin, and amiodarone
• Manage ventilated patients and assist with cath lab recovery and therapeutic hypothermia protocols
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently alongside remote monitor technicians
• Float to PCU and med-surg units within the region as needed; float to regional facilities may be required
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, charge nurses, and respiratory therapy available on unit

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible to practice in Washington State
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Demonstrated experience managing ventilated patients, cath lab recovery, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Experience titrating vasoactive and sedation drips in an ICU setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU environment
• Familiarity with PCU-level care and ability to flex between acuity levels
• Experience with vents, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen delivery systems
