Pay: $2,490.84 weekly
Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM
Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. In this mixed cardiac and medical ICU, you will provide care for patients with conditions such as DKA, acute respiratory failure, and post-op cardiovascular surgeries. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Critical Care - Travel- Meet the expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments using the appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources.
Requirements of the RN - Critical Care - Travel- BLS certification via AHA required
- ACLS certification via AHA required
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
