Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 18 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Critical Care Experience - Neuro and Cardiac Experience - Proficiency in Charting System Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float team. The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in various critical care units. This role requires the ability to manage patients with complex medical conditions. You will work in a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 during shifts. Experience in ICP monitoring and external ventricular drain management is highly preferred. You will be responsible for assessing and managing critically ill patients. Experience in administering procedural sedation and managing ventilated patients is necessary. Candidates must have strong competency in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing dysrhythmias. The environment includes interdisciplinary support from various healthcare professionals. You will float to different units as needed based on staffing requirements. Weekend availability is required. This position may include variable shifts based on unit needs. Candidates must possess the ability to adapt to changing patient care scenarios. Effective communication skills are essential for collaboration with the healthcare team.
