Description:
ICU RN needed for night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
This position requires working weekdays and every other weekend.
The unit has an average patient census of 0.2 patients per day.
Candidates must possess certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, and NIH.
Preferred certifications include CCRN.
Required skills include conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management.
Responsibilities encompass managing ventilated patients and administering emergency medications.
Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and phlebotomy is essential.
Candidates should be prepared for procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
Knowledge in interpreting arterial blood gases is required.
Provide care for patients with dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
Team collaboration is vital, and interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and social services.
Weekends and holiday coverage are part of the shift requirements.
Candidates must have a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility.
This position does not allow for previous employees to return within 2 years.
Current staff members are not eligible for travel contracts.
