Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU- Provide comprehensive care for lower acuity ICU patients
- Manage ventilators, chest tubes, and tracheostomies
- Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
- Perform line management and proning
- Monitor patients bedside and at the nursing station
Requirements of the RN - ICU- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- 2-3 years of ICU experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Ability to float to the cardiac unit
