Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN for an ICU position within the Medical Surgical 6 Tower MICU unit in Chicago, IL. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet Designated teaching hospital, providing care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Manage patient care for multi-system organ failure, DKA, sepsis, COPD, CHF, COVID, pneumonia, and more
• Handle ventilator/sedated patients and cardiac ICU cases, including MI and post-surgery recoveries
• Triage and prioritize care based on acuity, maintaining ICU and stepdown patient ratios
• Utilize EPIC for charting and coordinate with medical team for comprehensive patient management

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2.5 years ICU experience
• Proficiency with ventilators, chest tubes, arterial lines, and cardiovascular complications
• Experience with CRRT, insulin drips, wound vac, and cardiac devices like balloon pumps
