Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU- Deliver high-quality patient care for ICU admissions, focusing on multi-system organ failure, DKA, sepsis, and other critical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including CNA, charge nurse, and respiratory therapist
- Perform all phlebotomy draws and assist with arterial blood gases
Requirements of the RN - ICU- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system
- Skills in tracheostomy, ventilator management, and cardiovascular complications
