Description:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
The nurse will manage arterial lines and central lines, ensuring proper care and maintenance.
The role includes interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
The nurse will titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as needed.
Ventilator management is also a key responsibility.
Average patient ratio is 2 patients per nurse during shifts.
The unit supports inter-professional teams, including phlebotomy and rapid response teams.
The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The daily census is typically around 4 patients.
Candidates must be willing to float to nearby facilities as required.
Travelers must be amenable to working major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
References will be required covering relevant work experience within the last three years.
Candidates must provide copies of certifications.
Modules are required and must be completed prior to starting the position.
