Description:
Position requires RN to float between ICU, PCU, and MS units.
Candidate must confirm comfort with working in all three specialties.
Charting experience with Epic is required.
Staffing needs will be re-evaluated every 4 hours, and the traveler may float multiple times per shift.
Weekend requirements include working every other weekend or six weekend shifts within a six-week scheduling block.
Holidays must be worked, with one holiday required per 13-week contract.
Facility allows for call off of one shift every two weeks.
Experience in IV therapy, phlebotomy, PICC line management, and central line care is essential.
Skills required include central line care, trach management, and non-invasive airway support.
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and the administration of emergency medications is necessary.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Unit average ratios are 2:1 in ICU and up to 7:1 in MS.
Interdisciplinary support includes therapy services, interpretation services, and pharmacy.
Candidates are expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Travelers must comply with the facility's vaccination requirements.
Note: All candidates must be willing to float to various units based on house needs.
