Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Manage arterial line and assist with chest tube insertion/removal
• Administer blood products and care for ventilated patients
• Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias
• Manage dysrhythmias and patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Titrate vasoactive drips and manage chronic/acute renal failure

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• EPIC charting system experience
