Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Manage arterial lines and assist with chest tube insertion/removal
• Administer blood products and manage care of ventilated patients
• Administer continuous IV sedation and manage dysrhythmias
• Titrate vasoactive drips and handle emergency medications
• Interpret arterial blood gases and perform suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Attend to patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to care for COVID patients
