Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
Maintain ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS competencies as required for ICU practice
Required Qualifications
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license - must be verifiable via Nursys within the last 2 weeks
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required - must be AHA or ARC issued with valid expiration dates
PALS certification required - must be obtained prior to start date
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility may be accepted at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
3 or more years of ICU experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
