The nurse will provide care in a variety of critical care settings. The role includes managing patients with complex conditions. Nurses are expected to float among multiple units as needed. Weekend shifts are required. Candidates must possess the ability to assess for neuro changes. Experience with intracranial pressure monitoring and external ventricular drain management is highly preferred. Nurses will utilize advanced equipment for monitoring patient conditions. Essential skills include interpretation of arterial blood gases and management of dysrhythmias. The job requires effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Nurses are expected to be adaptable to changing patient care needs. The position demands a high level of professional integrity and ethical practice. Travelers must be clear that the shift may vary based on patient needs. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory to qualify for this role.
