Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide intensive care to medical ICU patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, renal failure, sepsis, and more
• Manage chronic ventilators and tracheostomy care
• Administer and titrate drips, including insulin and heparin
• Monitor and manage invasive lines and hemodynamic monitoring
• Assist in bedside procedures like chest tube placements and tracheostomy management
• Utilize technology such as EPIC EMR, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis dispensers

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Active NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Two years of ICU RN experience required
• CCRN certification preferred but not mandatory
