Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year Required License: Compact License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience: 2 Years of Experience Patient Ratio Experience: Experience in managing 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios Charting System Experience: Required experience in Epic Description: This position requires a registered nurse in the ICU specialty. The nurse will work night shifts on a three-day-per-week schedule. Floating to other units may be expected based on skill sets. Weekends are required, with a frequency of at least every other weekend. The patient care ratios during night shifts are typically 1:1 or 1:2. Staff will provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various specialty teams. Candidates should possess strong skills in critical care management, including ventilator management and IV medication administration. The environment involves the administration of treatments for severe medical conditions. Experience in procedures such as ECMO and CRRT is preferred. Candidates must be flexible and prepared to float to meet unit needs. References covering recent experience are required. It is essential that candidates are willing to comply with floating between facilities when necessary.
