Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (must be completed within six months of hire)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) (must be completed within six months of hire)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS (must be completed within six months of hire)
Must-Have:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience providing nursing care to critically ill patients
- Ability to work independently in completing assignments
Description:
Shared contractor housing is available.
No pets or family members are allowed.
The facility serves a diverse community and provides various healthcare services.
Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services are offered.
Surgical procedures include inpatient and outpatient care.
The nursing staff comprises registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
This position is primarily within the Intensive Care Unit.
Occasional floating to other areas may be required in case of low census.
Responsibilities include providing nursing care to critically ill patients of all ages and their families.
Guidelines include doctors' orders, standards of care, and nursing policies.
Nursing duties involve recovery of post-operative patients as needed.
Experience in using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is required.
Holiday coverage may be required.
