Description:
Burn ICU at a level 1 trauma and academic facility.
Locals are allowed at the same rate.
Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
16-bed unit expanding to 20 beds.
Charge experience preferred.
Patient ratios for days and nights are 4:1.
Staffing type is self-scheduling.
Candidates will float within scope if needed.
The average daily census is 16 patients.
Preferred experience in Trauma Level I.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
Candidates are required to submit to fingerprinting as outlined in the applicable regulations.
Modules will be assigned during orientation and must be completed during the first week.
Completion of modules is required while working on the unit.
