Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,365 per week in Marshfield, WI

Nurse-patient ratios are 1:2 or 1:1 for higher acuity patients. Common patient diagnoses include cardiovascular surgery, traumas, and various surgical interventions. Experience with our specific patient populations is essential. High acuity experience is mandatory as we serve as a tertiary care center. Immediate post-operative heart patients are cared for by specifically trained nurses. RNs are required to titrate drips. Common titratable drips include epinephrine, norepinephrine, and insulin. A charge nurse is present on every shift and may take patients depending on the needs. Nursing House Supervisors are available 24/7. Respiratory therapists are on-site 24/7. RNs monitor their own patient's telemetry and read rhythm strips. Shifts are from 0700 to 1930 or 1900 to 0730. Staff self-schedule based on unit needs and approved requests for time off. Every other weekend and holiday commitment is required. Floating to other units may occur based on staffing needs. There is no specific dress code, but professional appearance is expected. Clinicians must clock in and out while on site.
