Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in critical care.
The shift will be a 12-hour PM to AM rotation.
The nurse will provide care in an 18-bed intensive care unit.
Patient types include surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis.
Experience in critical care is essential.
Candidates should possess skills in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring.
Nurses will care for ventilated patients and manage pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications.
The role includes assisting with line insertion and maintenance.
Candidates should be familiar with managing tubes and drains for post-surgical patients.
Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD is required.
The ability to interpret PA lines and waveforms is necessary.
