**Job Description:**
- Become an essential part of a dynamic critical care team!
- Provide exceptional care in high-stakes environments for patients experiencing:
- Heart attacks
- Strokes
- Shock
- Severe trauma
- Respiratory distress
- Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient conditions and developing care plans
- Administering advanced life support and treating wounds
- Assisting physicians during critical procedures
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Ensuring proper functioning of medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors
- Administering intravenous fluids and medications
- Performing suctioning as needed
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary critical care teams
- Responding to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
- Advocating for patient needs
- Providing education and support to patients' families
- Opportunities to care for pre- and post-operative patients, enhance your skills as a case manager, or take on administrative duties!
**Requirements:**
- Must hold ACLS & BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Must possess an Alabama RN or multi-state RN license
