The registered nurse license must be valid in the state where care is provided. Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are mandatory. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Two years of recent ICU nursing experience is also preferred. NIH Stroke Scale Certificate and CCRN certification are preferred. Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is a plus.
