**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU/PCU Mixed Acuity
- **Shifts:** 3x12s, rotating
- **Days of the Week:** Various
- **Experience Required:** Minimum 2 years in a relevant specialty
- **First-Timers Accepted:** Yes
- **Weekend Requirement:** Yes, based on unit needs
- **Certifications Required:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- AHA
- NIHSS
- **On-Call Requirement:** No
- **Floating Requirement:** Yes, based on unit/division/facility needs
- **Total Staffed Beds:** 24
- **Charting System:** Epic
- **Nurse to Patient Ratios:**
- 1:1 and 2:1 for ICU level patients
- 3:1 for PCU level patients
- **Unit Details:**
- Mixed-acuity unit providing care for critically ill and acutely ill patients
- Focus on advanced cardiac care
- Patient population consists of:
- Unstable pre-heart transplants
- Heart failure patients requiring close monitoring or vasopressor support
- Acute myocardial infarctions
- Unstable post-interventional cardiology procedures
- Patients post-arrest requiring targeted temperature management
- Other patients needing invasive hemodynamics
