Contract | Night Shift (5x8 Hours, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care unit with a focus on medical/surgical and cardiac critical care patients at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage a variety of med/surg and cardiac ICU patients, adapting to diverse and complex clinical presentations
• Function as a free charge nurse as needed within the unit
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate locations if required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic (Excellian) electronic health records
• Participate in every other weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Minnesota license in hand preferred; pending licensure considered)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care / ICU nursing
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic/Excellian charting system
• Background in medical/surgical and cardiac critical care patient populations
• Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma-level facility
