Description:
Position requires floating between units based on needs.
On-call duties may be required due to low census.
Rotating weekends are required.
Block scheduling is not required.
Expected patient ratios are 1:2.
Travelers may be required to float to other areas as help.
Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
Incentive pay may apply for floating to specific locations.
Daily census in the unit is 2-4 patients.
Team support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and social services.
Call duties will apply if unit is overstaffed or caregivers are placed.
Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
Providers may need to be available within 30 minutes when on call.
References are required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.
Candidates must never have worked in the specified facilities as a permanent employee, registry, or travel contract.
