Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience required License: WI RN or compact RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: - Experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.) - Basic Arrhythmia experience required - Must pass Telemetry test prior to starting Description: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 19:00 - 07:30, with every other weekend and some holidays. Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. A telemetry exam will be required prior to starting. Competency in multiple ICU specialties is essential. The role includes participation in a Magnet-certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Nursing responsibilities will encompass high acuity populations with various critical care settings. Traveler will be required to float to multiple unit types based on staffing needs. A passing score of 80% or higher is mandatory on the telemetry exam. The traveler will have two attempts to pass the exam; failure to pass will result in cancellation of the assignment.
