Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years in critical care License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only) Must-Have: Experience with multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position. Basic arrhythmia experience required. Description: Join a Magnet-certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Enjoy the flexibility of working in various critical care settings such as Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. Support and engage in shared governance initiatives. Prioritize high-acuity patient care, including ECMO, ventilated patients, and various life-saving procedures. Demonstrated competency in multiple ICU specialties is required. Must float to different units as needed. Traveler must have experience in an inpatient acute care setting within the last 3 years in the relevant specialty. Telemetry testing must be passed within two attempts, with strict passing criteria. The assignment will be canceled if the traveler cannot meet passing requirements after three attempts. The role includes working with interdisciplinary support teams and managing critical patient diagnoses.
