Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards
- Deliver compassionate, customer- and family-focused quality care to adult patient populations
- Float to Med Surg on a regular basis as part of the rotating assignment
- Define, implement, and contribute to improvements in practice standards and the care environment
- Perform peripheral IV insertions and other required clinical skills specific to the ICU, Med Surg, and Telemetry settings
- Maintain accountability for the quality of nursing services delivered and promote exceptional patient care
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care / ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Active Minnesota RN license required (a temporary MN nursing license is acceptable provided a permanent license application has been submitted and the temporary license is in hand at time of submittal)
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Med Surg and Telemetry training required
- Demonstrated ability to insert peripheral IVs required
- Adult population clinical experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting required for this patient-facing position
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of candidate submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity hospital environment with rotating unit assignments
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong adaptability and comfort transitioning between ICU and Med Surg care settings
