Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards
  • Deliver compassionate, patient- and family-centered care while maintaining accountability for the quality of nursing services provided
  • Define, implement, and contribute to improvements in practice standards and the care environment
  • Float to Med Surg on a regular basis as part of rotating unit assignment
  • Perform IV insertions and provide care for adult patient populations
  • Utilize the Epic electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information
Required Qualifications
  • Active Minnesota RN license (a temporary MN nursing license is acceptable provided a permanent license application has been submitted and the temporary license is in hand at time of submittal)
  • BLS certification (AHA or ARC) - required, must be documented
  • ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) - required, must be documented
  • Minimum 2 years of Critical Care / ICU experience
  • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
  • Med Surg and Telemetry training
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Adult population experience
  • Ability to insert IVs
  • MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting required for this patient-facing position
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a rotating unit environment across ICU, Med Surg, and Telemetry settings
  • Familiarity with high-acuity acute care hospital environments
  • Strong adaptability and clinical flexibility across multiple care settings
