- Ability to float to inpatient floors when needed
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Float Registered Nurse.
This position involves floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac, Client, Medicine, and COVID units.
Nurses will be required to float to various non-critical care units if census is low in the ICU.
In such cases, a patient ratio of no more than 1:3 will be maintained.
A minimum of 6 weekend shifts is required within a 6-week schedule.
Holidays will also be part of the rotation.
Experience in hemodynamic interpretation, vasoactive drips, and care of ventilated patients is preferred.
Familiarity with central line care and management is essential.
The role may involve patient sitter duties as needed.
Candidates should have past experience with specific charting systems.
This position does not require specific experience in CVICU.
Additional skills such as administering chemotherapy and managing arterial lines are preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience with CRRT and ECMO.
This role requires adaptability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
