Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,261 per week in Shawnee Mission, KS

Join Our Dynamic Cardiovascular Care Team!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Overland Park, Kansas (Leawood area) - **Unit Name:** Cardiovascular Care Unit - **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM - **Guaranteed Hours:** 48 hours preferred - **Start Date:** 12/14 **Unit Profile:** - **Number of Beds:** 28 - **Patient Ratios:** 4-5:1 - **Focus Areas:** Acute cardiac patients, including cath lab patients (ablations, PFO closures, stents, pacers, etc.), stroke patients, and other PCU overflow - **Teamwork:** Strong support from charge nurses and unit techs - **Equipment:** EKG, bladder scanner, sit to stand, hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, Pyxis - **Documentation System:** Meditech - EBCD - **Scheduling Requirements:** At least every third weekend, three shifts per week - **Floating Policy:** Can float to like units (Ortho/Neuro/CCU/CDU/SSU/Obs/Rehab) - **Patient Experience Requirements:** - Focus on nursing communication and courtesy - Daily Nurse Leader Rounds on every patient - Continuous monitoring of safety and quality measures **Hiring Profile:** - **Requested Skill Set:** - Must have: ACLS, BLS, Basic Dys, NIH certification - Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset - **Advanced Skills:** Cardiac experience is a plus - **Procedures Performed:** Basic med tele procedures - **Certifications Required:** As listed above **Dress Code:** - Royal blue scrub tops - Royal blue or black pants - Grey, white, black, or royal blue undershirt **Why Work Here:** - Unencumbered Charge Nurse and Clinical Educator on site - Highly engaged cardiology staff, including physicians and cath lab staff - Opportunities for professional growth and development **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
