Key Responsibilities- Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU/CCU patients in a mid-to-large hospital setting
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced intensive care environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Rotate availability every other weekend and every other holiday as part of the expected schedule
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Illinois or compact equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Demonstrated experience with CCU patients - must be clearly reflected on resume
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a mid-to-large hospital or health system setting
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in high-acuity environments
- Experience managing complex, critically ill patient populations
