You will assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients. Communication with various health care team members, patients, and their families is essential. You will coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues. Updating and managing patient records will be part of your responsibilities. You will enter and interpret computerized data and information. Following guidelines and policies established by the nursing department is required. You will assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects. You must have the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. A tele test will be required on day one.
