You will work with multidisciplinary teams specializing in brain tumors, spinal malformations, neuroendovascular, and epilepsy surgery. This is a mixed-acuity unit with both floor-level and a high-acuity step-down unit for patients with more complex needs. Patients require hemodynamic and neurological monitoring. Ideal candidates have experience with Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, subdural drains, and 3% NS. Experience with Cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coiling/clips, and DBS Insertion is also beneficial. Knowledge of VP shunts and seizure management is advantageous.
