This position supports various critical care units. The role requires the ability to float to different ICUs as needed, including Neuro, Surgical, and Cardiovascular. Candidates must have strong skills in the management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Responsibilities include interpretation of dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips. The RN will need to obtain 12 lead EKGs and assist with various critical care procedures. Experience in caring for ventilated patients is essential. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of every other weekend. This position involves working within and contributing to a supportive interdisciplinary team. All candidates must comply with fingerprinting and credentialing processes. Two professional references are required, with one from a manager or direct supervisor. Previous charge experience is preferred. This role requires strong communication skills and adaptability to changing clinical environments.
