Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months ICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - NIHSS Must-Have: - No hits on state license to practice - Driver's license to verify residency Description: Candidates should be experienced and willing to work in an adult ICU. Candidates must have stroke experience and NIHSS certification. Weekends, holidays, and floating are required per department guidelines. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Request time off (RTO) must be listed and cannot exceed 7 days. There should be no RTO during the first week of assignment. Candidates must clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept. The more flexible they are with locations, shifts, and departments, the faster an offer can be secured. It is important for candidates to list all facilities they are willing to work in. All shifts and departments the candidate is experienced and willing to work in should be specified. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept. Immediate notification is required if a candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Active license to practice must be verified in the last 30 days. An ICU skills checklist must be completed in the last 12 months. Active certifications in BLS and ACLS from approved vendors are required. Strict adherence to all background check standards is necessary.
