This position requires a strong background in intensive care nursing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing critically ill patients. Experience with ventilators, Bipap, and various drips such as propofol, leveophed, diliazem, insulin, and heparin is essential. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of patient care in an intensive care environment. This role involves work on weekends in a rotational schedule. The nurse may also float between units as needed, including stepdown and medical-surgical areas. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required. Candidates should be able to provide references from a charge nurse, supervisor, or other management personnel from within the last 24 months.
