Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN in the ICU!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - 29 bed general ICU in a level 2 trauma center - Heart program with around 200 cases per year - Advanced life support interventions including CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO - Newly opened Burn center as of April 2019 - Staff average of 12 years of ICU experience - **Contract Details:** - Length of contract: 13 weeks - Shift: Nights (3 - 12 hour shifts per week) - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Floating Policy: Travelers float first (ED, step down) - **Patient Care:** - Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2 (occasionally 1:3 with patients ready to leave ICU) - Critical Procedures: Intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopy, bedside tracheostomy, and PEG tube placement - **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Vent management - ABG interpretation - Vasoactive drip titration - Hemodynamic monitoring - **Certifications Required:** - RN License - ACLS - BLS - TNCC, NIH, ABLS welcome - **Documentation & Equipment:** - Documentation System: Meditech - Equipment: Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV 1000 and CCO, Primaflex CRRT, Cardiohelp ECMO - **Dress Code:** - Navy blue scrubs required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
