Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 12-hour shifts with 1:2 patient ratios, every other weekend required

Highlights:
  • Critical care unit specializing in trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations
  • Epic EMR experience required with 24-hour orientation provided
  • Float within scope to IMC as needed to support facility operations
  • 18-bed daily census in a 24-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
  • Advanced monitoring and interventions including CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and intraventricular drains
  • Travel assignment with one pre-approved time-off request available
Requirements:
  • Active Maryland RN license (pending license accepted)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of recent ICU experience; previous travel experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
  • Epic charting system experience mandatory
  • Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
  • Proficiency in arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, blood product administration, and cardiac monitoring
  • Experience with trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations strongly preferred
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions available
  • Candidates must reside outside 50-mile radius (local candidates not accepted)
