Experience in the following areas is highly desirable: Accessing/managing ports Arterial line management Chest tube insertion/removal BiPAP/CPAP management Blood product administration Care of ventilated patients Central line care/management Chronic/acute renal failure Continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade Continuous IV sedation CVA/acute stroke management Emergency medications External ventricular drain management Phlebotomy PICC line management Suctioning (ETT, NT) Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Daily responsibilities will include: Assuming care of patients in high-acuity settings. The position requires floating to all ICU specialties. Willingness to accommodate unit needs is essential. There is a minimum requirement of every other weekend shifts.
