Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years critical care and prior travel License: Compact license accepted, pending license not accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred, not required) Must-Have: - Experience in high volume, high acuity facilities - Availability to float to other areas when needed Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU. The nurse will care for cardiac ICU patients and overflow from other ICU units. The focus will be on cardiology. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care in a high-acuity environment. A patient ratio of 1:2 is expected. Floating to other ICUs and border areas should be anticipated. The nurse must be flexible to meet unit needs, including weekend coverage. Experience in utilizing Epic for charting is required. Strong skills in managing critical care patients and various ICU equipment are essential. The nurse should have experience with advanced cardiac life support protocols. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team will be necessary to provide optimal patient care. Candidates will need to hold the required certifications and demonstrate proficient clinical skills. We aim for a supportive environment where patient care is the priority.
