- Rotating 3x12-Hour Shifts
- Day: 07:00 - 19:00
- Night: 19:00 - 07:00
- Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- First-timers Accepted: Yes!
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on unit needs
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- AHA NIHSS
- On-call Requirement: No
- Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Total Staffed Beds: 24
- Charting System: Epic
- Nurse to Patient Ratios:
- ICU Patients: 1:1 to 2:1
- PCU Patients: 3:1
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
**Unit Information:**
- Provides mixed-acuity care for critically and acutely ill patients
- Patient Population Includes:
- Unstable pre-heart transplants
- Heart failure with close monitoring or vasopressor support
- Acute myocardial infarctions
- Unstable post-interventional cardiology procedures
- Post-arrest targeted temperature management
- Patients requiring invasive hemodynamics
- Nursing assignments are tailored on a shift-to-shift basis, ensuring each patient receives superior care.
