• Shifts: 3x12s, rotating
• Experience Required: 2 years
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on unit needs
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • AHA NIHSS
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Total Staffed Beds: 24
• Charting System: Epic
• Ratios:
  • 1:1 or 2:1 for ICU level patients
  • 3:1 for PCU level patients
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

  • Mixed-acuity, medically-focused unit
  • Care for critically ill and acutely ill patients requiring advanced cardiac care
  • Patient population includes:
    • Unstable pre-heart transplants
    • Heart failure with close monitoring or vasopressor support
    • Acute myocardial infarctions
    • Unstable post-interventional cardiology procedures
    • Post-arrest targeted temperature management
    • Patients requiring invasive hemodynamics
